What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files your browser keeps when you visit a site. We set some of them ourselves. The rest come from the services we use: Google, Contentsquare, Cloudflare. The site also stores a few things directly in your browser, in localStorage and sessionStorage, and everything below applies to those too.
The cookies we use
Essential cookies
These keep the site running and protect it: the security cookies Cloudflare sets, your cookie choice, stored in localStorage under the cookie-consent key, and a session marker for the intro animation, gone the moment you close the tab. We do not ask for consent on these. Take them out and there is no site.
Analytics cookies
These show us which pages get read, how long you stay on them and where you came from. Google Analytics 4 sets them, property G-256CM7TGEG, loaded through the Google Tag Manager container GTM-ND5ZF7NB. Nothing starts before you press Accept in the banner.
- _ga: tells visitors apart. Lifetime: 400 days
- _ga_256CM7TGEG: holds the session state for the GA4 property. Lifetime: 400 days
Advertising cookies
These tie your visit to a click on a Google ad, so we can see which campaign brings real enquiries. The cookie comes from Google Ads, through Conversion Linker, and starts only after you press Accept in the banner.
- _gcl_au: attributes conversions to Google Ads campaigns. Lifetime: 90 days
Session recording
We use Contentsquare. It records how the page gets used: mouse movement, scrolling, clicks. That becomes heatmaps and session replays, which show us where people get stuck. It starts only after you press Accept in the banner.
- _cs_c: remembers your consent for Contentsquare. Lifetime: 13 months
- _cs_id: visitor identifier. Lifetime: 13 months
- _cs_s: marks the current session. Lifetime: 30 minutes
Third-party cookies
- Google: Analytics 4 and Google Ads, including doubleclick.net, loaded through the Google Tag Manager container GTM-ND5ZF7NB
- Contentsquare: heatmaps and session replays
- Cloudflare: site delivery and security, strictly necessary
Analytics and advertising data is not anonymous. Every visitor gets a random identifier, kept in a cookie, and Google can match it against its own ad measurement systems. You should know that before you press Accept.
We host the fonts ourselves, on i-vory.studio, so loading them sends nothing to Google.
How you control cookies
The banner shows on every page until you answer it. Until you press Accept, nothing that measures anything loads: no Google Analytics, no Google Ads, no Contentsquare. Press Reject and only the essential cookies stay.
You can change your choice at any time, with the button on this page. Withdrawing consent takes one click, the same as giving it, and the new choice applies immediately.

Legal basis
Essential cookies do not need your consent: without them the site does not run and cannot protect itself. For everything else, meaning analytics, advertising and session recording, the legal basis is your consent, under Romanian Law 506/2004, art. 4 para. (5), and Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
